The Section 3 Program continued its support of the Build Hope Inc. (BHI) Scholarship Program through the generous contributions of its partners. The celebration and awards ceremony took place on July 18 at California State University, Los Angeles. The event recognized the academic achievements and continued success of students from HACLA-assisted families and brought together scholarship recipients, their families, donors, and HACLA representatives to celebrate their accomplishments.

This year, 184 students attending colleges and universities across the country received scholarships totaling $341,000, providing critical support as they pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals.

HACLA’s Section 3 partners, who contributed $75,000 toward this year’s scholarship awards, continue to play a vital role in advancing educational opportunities for HACLA residents and their families. We extend our sincere appreciation to the following Section 3 partners for their generous contributions, many of whom have supported the program for multiple years:

  • Yardi
  • Verizon
  • Reno & Cavanaugh
  • EFI Global (A/E)
  • Nan McKay
  • HD Supply
  • Berman Auditors
  • American City Pest
  • JOA A/E Task Order
  • Hyland
  • Rincon Consultants
  • Tighe Architecture, Inc. (A-2)
