Patricia Kataura joined the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles in 2014 in the capacity of Assistant Finance Manager. She currently serves as Director of Finance, a position she has held since August 2017. In this capacity she is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Finance department.
With over three decades of experience in private and public sectors in transportation, medical research and banking industries, Patricia brings a strong background in financial operations, including data integrity, internal controls, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, audit and compliance. As well as enterprise system implementations, business process improvements and automation to gain organizational efficiencies. Patricia encourages a productive and collaborative work environment to ensure Finance’s timelines and goals are met and to collectively support the Authority’s strategic initiatives.
Patricia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona.
