Section 8
HACLAA resident's rent in the public housing program is subsidized by the federal government. Applicants to the public housing program must be income eligible and residents must adhere to program rules.
 
 
 
 
Youth Summer Educational Tours 
 
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles’ Educational Tour and Training program organized a fishing trip for public housing youth on October 24. Twenty seven youth participated in this exciting, fun and educational activity.

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles Housing Authority Commission Chair Beatriz Stotzer was recognized with the ‘2009 Humanitarian Award’ from El Centro De Amistad.
 


HACLA Commissioners & CEO visit Imperial Courts 







 

 
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles held an off-site Board of Commissioners Committee meeting at Imperial Courts public housing on Thursday.  Conducting the meetings at off-site locations allow our residents to participate and find out all the important happenings with the agency.
 


 

 
 
 
 

HACLA provides programs that benefit residents and improve their quality of life. Residents have opportunities to obtain job training, educational programs, and many other programs to help them get to a place of self-sufficiency.
